& GETTING HERE
PK's Jungle Village is 140km north of Cairns, a scenic drive of 2½ hours through the northern beaches of Cairns, along the scenic cost road to Port Douglas and then on to Daintree Village.
Just to the south of Daintree Village, a right turn takes you to the Daintree River Ferry Crossing (open from 6am to midnight), and the start of the spectacular 35km drive through the rainforest, ranges and coastal communities along Cape Tribulation Road.
The self-drive option is an experience in its own right whether it be in your own vehicle, or a rented vehicle from our friends at Low Cost Car Rentals and Sales . The road to Cape Tribulation is now fully sealed.
